How does it work?
The Guidetto system is designed to make site-specific information and augmented experiences accessible to users using their own phones and tablets.
The system consists of (a) special guidetto-tags that are placed in museums, on hiking trails, at historical landmarks, and other points of interest, (b) a cloud based content management system that stores rich multimedial contents, and (c), Guidetto apps with which users scan guidetto-signs and access the site-specific, multimedial contents.
Each guidetto-tag has a unique QR-code and NFC-tag. When the user scans the tag the app fetches the corresponding contents package from the cloud and starts playing it.
How to use?
Download and open the app. Scan a guidetto-tag by tapping the scan-button in the bottom right corner of the app and directing the camera towards a guidetto-tag.
